Let me try to jolt any memories.
Seen this symbol anywhere before? Wonder what it meant?
Well, for all those out there who has been wondering, this is a symbol of mod. Mod is a subculture originated in London during the 1950s. But it only became really popular in mid 1970s.
Mods are known for their fashion sense, music influence and also, motor scooters (better known here as Vespas).
And, mods culture is not foreign to us, Singaporeans. If you're lucky enough, you see Vespa convoys riding and flaunting their well-designed late 20th century models. But don't confuse these Vespas with those that have modified structure. Examples would be Vespas that have narrowed floorboards or misshapen tyre guards. They are not in the style of Mods. Mods carry their Vespas without modifying the original structures, but instead, add on embellishments and stickers and such. Feast your eyes on these Vespas!
And Dale definitely cannot wait to earn enough mooooolas to flaunt his Vespa! I wouldn't mind showing you guys a picture of his Vespa, but he'd kill me if I did. Haha!
Okay. So obviously, Mods are not just all about their scooters. Their fashion sense is worth getting to know about. Their tailor-made suits and sleek style is so sexy! Take a look at some of them.

This style may not be the modern style but yet, its so refreshing to see every time. Something different, something unique. Makes every person turn to look at you. That is what Dale & Shelly is aiming to provide to our customers. We're tired of seeing the same korean/japanese styles that you can get anywhere and everywhere here.
What do you think of such fashion sense?
